Neonatal Abstinence Program

girlIn the past 10 years, over 130,000 babies were born with drug addictions in our country. The Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) program delivers care to infants who have been exposed to opiates. We create a loving, caring environment to meet the baby´s growth and developmental milestones, by following doctor’s orders for weaning the child over time.

Newborns Exposed To Opiates May Have:

  • Fever, sweating and tremors
  • Breathing problems
  • Extreme fussiness and high pitch crying
